Chris Tardif

Kinesiologist

Chris graduated from Simon Fraser University with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. During his undergraduate studies, he completed a placement with One Performance, where he quickly connected with the team and later joined them officially.

With experience working with individuals managing chronic illnesses, Chris gained valuable insights into a variety of conditions and the crucial role exercise plays in managing them. He also developed a deeper appreciation for the importance of staying active as we age to support overall health, including maintaining muscle mass, bone density, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness. This work provided a fresh perspective for Chris, who has spent much of his life as an athlete and continues to compete as a field hockey player. His personal journey has shown him firsthand how proper strength and conditioning enhance athletic performance, build resilience to injuries, and support longevity as an athlete. This understanding has shaped him into a well-rounded coach, bringing together both his professional expertise and personal experience.

Outside the gym, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s playing a round of golf or fishing in some of BC’s more remote locations.
