Chris’ professional journey is closely intertwined with his involvement in elite sport. He played for the Vancouver Whitecaps from 1994 to 2005, while concurrently completing his physiotherapy training. Transitioning to the role of Head Therapist for the 1st team in 2007, he later served as Head of Sport Science for the Youth Academy from 2011 to 2019, before returning to his position as Head Therapist in 2019.

In addition to his Whitecaps tenure, Chris spent 8 years as a physiotherapist for UBC Varsity, and served as a physiotherapist for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics (Ice Hockey). Throughout this period, he pursued and obtained his diploma in sport physiotherapy.

Chris’ dedication to education is evidenced by his role as an instructor for KIN 241 – Athletic Training at Simon Fraser University.

With a special interest in managing sporting groin and lumbopelvic issues, Chris is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to athletes, guiding them through challenges and helping them achieve their goals.
