Gaelic football has always played a key part in Sarah’s sporting experience and still does today as she plays with the St. Finnians Club based in Vancouver. She has worked alongside Gaelic football teams within Ireland all the way along the competitive sporting pathway from U14 to County standard. During which Sarah provided pre and post event treatment, strapping, taping and pitch side first aid cover. When not found in a changing room Sarah successfully ran her own Sports Massage Therapy business from two clinics providing her the best opportunity to work alongside every level of sports and non-sports person alike.
With this, Sarah’s aim is to focus on restoring balance in the body by improving movement and supporting recovery. Tailoring every session to meet your body’s unique needs to manage everyday aches, injuries or chronic tension. In doing so Sarah utilises deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and soft tissue release and stretching guided by a collaborative approach alongside various health care practitioners with you the client at the centre.
New to Vancouver you can find Sarah exploring all her new location has to offer, especially in the form of scenic trails and local coffee shops. Her overall goal is to help you move better, feel better and support your long-term physical health and well-being, whether you’re on the field, in the gym or managing the physical demands of daily life. Be sure to come and say hello to Sarah!
